Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your purchases from JDM of San Diego, Inc. ("JDM of San Diego", "we", "us"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Products

We sell used imported Japanese (JDM) engines, transmissions and related parts, plus select new and remanufactured units. Mileage ranges, included components and condition are described on each listing to the best of our knowledge. Photos show the unit or a representative unit as described in the listing.

2. Fitment

It is your responsibility to confirm that a product fits your vehicle before ordering. Compatibility can depend on engine code, transmission type and vehicle details beyond the model year. Our team is happy to help review your vehicle details, but we are not responsible if an incorrect unit is purchased.

3. Orders and Payment

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Orders are confirmed once payment is received. See our Payment Policy for accepted methods. We may cancel any order for suspected fraud, pricing error or unavailability, in which case you will receive a full refund.

4. Shipping and Pickup

Shipping terms, transit times and freight delivery requirements are described in our Shipping Policy. Local pickup is available at our Chula Vista location.

5. Warranty

Engines and transmissions are covered by the limited warranty described in our Warranty Policy. Except as stated there, products are sold as is, and implied warranties are limited to the duration of the written warranty where permitted by law.

6. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations

All sales are final except as provided in our Return & Refund Policy and Warranty Policy. Refused or returned orders are subject to a 35% restocking fee plus all freight charges.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JDM of San Diego is not liable for installation costs, labor, towing, rental cars, lost profits or any indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to JDM of San Diego or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under California consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version on this page.
